Ali Saifullah Khan, Coordinator Saifullah Foundation for Sustainable
Development (SFSD), Program Manager Syed Muhammad Arif and Financial
Controller of the Foundation has vowed to strike hard for the development
of back ward Marwat area.
They were addressing a joint press conference at press club here
on Tuesday. They said they had called on the Executive District
Officers for Agriculture, Health and Education to acquaint them
of the problems being faced by the masses in routine life
" We are collecting the data of all three departments and then long
and short -term projects will be initiated in several localities
of the district with collaboration of community in order to raise
the living standers of the people"
They said that strategy was under way to provided potable drinking
water to at least 25 primary schools of rural area and under computer
literacy programs 25 primary schools of the urban area would be
equipped with computers and other related appliances"
During the visit of Lakki, the Saifullah Foundation Team also visited
the office of EDO (Health) and discussed the prospects of health
facilities in the area. In the same time SFSD team met the delegation
of World Health Organization (WHO). Mr. James, member of the WHO
delegation appreciated the efforts of Saifullah Foundation in the
health sector.
