PRESS CONFERENCE JUNE 17, 2003
On June 15, 2003, a team of Saifullah Foundation for Sustainable
Development consisted of Syed Muhammad Arif, Program Manager, Mr.
Ali. S. Khan, Project Coordinator and Mr. Shafqat Elahi Financial
Controller visited District Lakki Marwat. During their three-day
tour to Lakki Marwat, they visited certain villages of Lakki and
liaison with EDOs, Union Nazmeens and other members of the community
for the ongoing projects of the Foundation.
On June 17, 2003, the members of Saifullah Foundation also convened
a Joint Press Conference at a Press Club. During the Press Conference
Mr. Arif, Ali and Shafqat gave a briefing about the Foundation's
emergence, mission, aims and objectives, on going and future projects.
The Team addressed Journalists of various newspapers and magazines
and informed them about the future work plans of the Foundation
which included start of agriculture projects particularly drip irrigation
and sericulture, health projects which included women and children
hospial Ghazni Khel, supply of potable drinking water to at least
25 primary schools of rural area, introduction of computer literacy
programs and expansion of Serai Nauran Computer Center.
