Despite his business engagements, Mr. Javed Khan has been in the forefront of community welfare activities in his area and province. For this purpose Mr. Khan has established Saifullah Foundation with its Head office in Islamabad and Regional office in District Lakki Marwat, NWFP, Pakistan.

The Saifullah Foundation aims to address the challenging task of rural marginality in a holistic manner by emphasizing asset building, alternative income generation techniques, valuing, preserving and enhancing local knowledge and technology skill enhancement and above all, gender equality through increased participation of women partners as local entrepreneurs, proficient artisans and efficient managers.
